The "King of the Waves" Gospel Track

(These small 4" x 4" gospel booklets were handed out
to people of all types. In the streets, at the beach, anywhere where
people were gathered, perhaps the fair, shopping mall, etc..

The "King of the Waves" gospel tracks were created in 1985, on the Central Coast of California. They were handed out by the "God Squad" (People on a mission from God.) We used to go around with youth groups or friends and pass these little booklets out to everybody and anybody. Most people laughed or thought it was cool, and they were receiving a free little picture , they seldom threw them down. They had basically the same type of message as you have just read. We used to pass them out on the streets of Hollywood Blvd. and on the beach for Christ. They were for witnessing and sharing Christ with all the beach dwelling people, primarily young surfing individuals and small families. The whole idea was to keep people focused on the "Creator" and not on the "Creation." So many people forget about God in their lives, and usually Thank the trees or the waves instead of Thanking the Creator for the trees or the waves. Thank You Jesus for the great time I had in the water today. I had a good ole time. Thank You for this beautiful day. Relating to a loving real God who cares, not just talking to a non-speaking tree or beach full of cold sand.

It was a great success! Many kids giving their lives to Christ
so that they could live on, to be a good citizens and eventually getting blessed
spiritually, physically, financially, mentally and fearless!

I continue to leave this site up without slight change since 1987.
